Pedro Obiang
This fella needs to start every week. He was so much better than both Noble and Kouyate.

Re: Pedro Obiang
Been saying it ages, he's a proper DM, athletic, can tackle and can keep the ball.

Re: Pedro Obiang
Never rated him before today but played well. A midfield three of him, kouyate and lanzini should start the next game.

Brings solidity to the 700% flair wannabes we've brought in this summer, needs to stay in the team now.

Exactly what we've needed. Had a good game today, gave us us bit more control.

Fernandes in for the invisible Cheik?

Fernandes in for Noble for me.

Re: Pedro Obiang
I've accused him of being average at best but he was my MOTM today. Right good shift from the bloke.

Re: Pedro Obiang
Agreed. Our best player today, for me.

Payet may have scored a brilliant solo goal but I still think that he's capable of a lot more.

A country mile ahead of kayoute and noble

Re: Pedro Obiang
Haven't seen today - but I think he's a great player.

That role involves closing down, tackling, minimising space and when you get it, give it ten yards to someone who can play.

He does all of that.

He helps the team play.

If Obiang doesn't start after this, he'll be off in January

Re: Pedro Obiang
Obiang has always looked good technically with two good feet but he has struggled physically at times.

Good game today. Looked a better option sitting deep than Nordveit, Kouyate or Noble has.

Anyone who plays Nordveit over Obiang is not in their right mind.

Re: Pedro Obiang
Played well today though I think he would work better with Lanzini alongside him rather than Noble who seems to be getting slower and slower.

Re: Pedro Obiang
I don't understand why he hasn't been a starter for all the time he's been here. He's the sort of player who really knits a team together.

Pleased he got an opportunity today..and he played well.
But he alongside Noble and Kouyate doesn't work at all.

Kouyate needs dropping..he's been dogshit
